Bluetooth Reset - Monterey

In older versions of the OS, could hold down shift-option and click on the Bluetooth icon in the toolbar to reset the Bluetooth hardware. This no longer works in Monterey. You could also see signal strength, which is now gone.

Is there a new secret key combination to get the old reset options?

I had the same issue, and I solved it using a 3rd party tool called blueutil. You can use the following command to restart it:

$ blueutil -p 0 && sleep 1 && blueutil -p 1

It's far from idea, but it works... I have to use it every day several times, as the sound on my headphones become laggy during MS Teams calls...
