Why do I pay for Apple Music every month, but cannot access it on my Windows PC?

I decided to pay for Apple Music at 9.99 per month so I could continue to "buy" music from Apple. It used to be I could buy individual songs or albums using whatever payment method I chose to use. But that soon went by the wayside, and the only way I could buy music was to go to the monthly plan.

So I did this. I did it first on my iPod Touch. However, I sync my iPod Touch with my Windows PC, and my Windows PC does not show a single song I have bought since I've been paying Apple about 10 bucks a month. Why is this?

Windows, Windows 6

1) You can still buy music from the iTunes Store on a per song/per album basis. You don't need to subscribe to Apple Music unless you want to.

2) Apple Music should work just fine on your Windows computer. Start here:

Download and use iTunes for Windows - Apple Support
