We have a late 2009 iMac and would like to use it to backup our iPhones. On a Late 2009 iMac running High Sierra would we be able to restore a backup of a current iPhone running later OS? I was told this may be an issue. Thanks

I can tell you this. A late 2009 iMac can not have its operating system upgraded any higher than High Sierra.
