Not offering to use apple ID on password reset

I cant log in to imac as not accepting my password. I have done CMD R to reset but its doesnt allow me in after resetting password


iMac 27″, macOS 10.12

The below will Reset the " Administrator Account " password for this computer


Reset Computer Password 


Intel Computer


1 - Restart computer and immediately hold Command + r keys


2 - Top Tool Bar >> Utilities >> Terminal


3 - Type resetpassword as one word and no spaces


4 - Press Return key


5 - Follow the prompts and remember the New Password
