show mirroring option not showing up nor is airplay

I have a 2019 macbook pro (OS Monterey 12.0.1), but I can't get my airplay to work nor can I find it in spotlight. How do I get this to work so that I can connect to my 2nd Gen Ipad pro (OS 15.1)

There also isn't the option in my display to show mirroring. I also have everything connected to the same wifi, bluetooth on and updated to the latest version. But nothing shows up for mirroring and I couldn't find sidecar either
