Why won't my Mac show my location? Location Services is on, Maps is enabled, internet is connected?

If I open Maps and click on Home or my location, or I look at a different location then click on home or my location, Maps gives the message: "Cannot Show Your Location".

Apple Support/help just tells me to go to: Systems Preferences/Security & Privacy/Privacy/Enable Location Services [checked]/Maps [checked], but it still doesn't work.

What do I do?

I am having a similar issue with my Weather app on my iPhone 12; I still have not received a resolution to that issue from the Apple Support forums, please, can somebody help?

iMac Pro, macOS 12.0

Do you have Wifi turned on?

Even if you connect via Ethernet, your mac will use Wifi to determine your location.
