iOS 15.1 calendar lag

I just updated to iOS 15.1 and the calendar has lag issues. When first opened it shows the wrong events on the wrong days and wrong times. Also events are displayed with overlapping text. If I switch between apps it corrects itself.

Restart your iPhone


If that doesn’t help, delete Calendar, restart your iPhone, then reinstall and see if the issue is resolved.

Issue is happening on my side also. Here’s more details. IPhone X ios 15.1


if you’re viewing the entire month at once with the daily events at the bottom of the screen, changing day is going to create a freeze/lag and scrolling through the events at the bottom is laggy.


same is happening if you go on the event only view.


a lots of people are on this thread below. Seems like Apple is aware of this
