Email FLAGS on LEFT-side, instead of on the RIGHT-side?

I use the old-fashioned one-row tall grid view (looks like a spreadsheet). In that presentation, you can drag some of the fields around.

In your modern "looks like an iPhone" view, I think leroydouglas had your answer above. You can't. And if you hate that answer, write to Apple product feedback about it.
