On Apple Mail, I have a folder that is titled Bulk Mail and all I get in it is spam, junk, adult emails, etc. How the heck do I get rid of the folder? Mail will not let me delete it. I'm going nuts with this! I get about 35 emails per day of garbage. I don't know what category this should be under so I selected the generic computer desktop.
I called AOL this morning and got a very rude person. I was told that I have the Bulk Mail mailboxes (one each in each of my two accounts) because of the way I log into Apple Mail. Everything is because of Apple products. He told me that I should be using the internet, not the icon to log in.
So that's my problem and for $30 a month I could get the famous AOL Advantage Plan, the service that will fix the problem. I've never been an AOL fan and now I remember why. There are others out there, like me, who have this problem but nobody has the fix.
That could be something your email provider is doing on their servers.
What sort of email account is it -- Gmail, AOL, generic IMAP, Exchange, something else?
This will be fun. My email is through Verizon.net but AOL handles the email. I just called AOL and their voicemail is full. I'll try again tomorrow.

I changed my AOL passwords on two accounts and the Bulk Mail mailbox went away on both of them. No more Bulk Mail!
