Creating a new tab in Numbers on your Mac.

I've been reading a lot of threads where this is not resolved. I finally found it and thought I would post.

The shortcut for Numbers to go from one open book to another is Control+Shift+Tab.

The shortcut for Numbers to go from individual sheets inside of a book is Command+Shift+{ or } depending on if you want to go left or right.

Tested moments ago, with 12+ documents open in Numbers, pressing shift-control-tab had no visible effect.

Pressing command-tilde moved focus from the current document to the next open document.

( tilde ~ is the key to the left of 1)

Agreed.

Using Numbers vocabulary:

To move from one sheet to another within the same Numbers document:

Press shift-command-{   or  shift-command-} to move one tab left or right.

Missing from this 'family list' of similar KB shortcuts is:

Press command-tab to move focus to the next open application.
