30-Day Wait:

It can take up to 30 days to get the refund. It took my 25 days for me to get my most recent refund. So, you'll just have to wait it out.

Want to know there this all stands? If so, contact Apple Support, asking the Apple Rep. If permitted, they'll have the answer upfront.

Why the Wait:

Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

Should your debit have online secure statements for perusal, the information you seek

may be viewable there well before 20-days. That depends on internal banking details.

A return (with refund on incorrect items) from online order, had appeared as credit-back

to same originating account, on mine. Within 2 weeks. Some debit cards backed by large

CC bank-brands can be seen as 'credit-card' and probably to do that for security reasons.

Sometimes it's good to have/use credit cards; a better, or extended guarantee, is allowed.
