IPad Messaging

If i have 2 iPads and an iPhone all with the same apple ID is it possible to only allow one of the ipads to receive texts and the other not to?

Assuming that you wish to selectively allow text messaging for one or other of your iPads…


On your iPhone:

Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding - set to ON - and explicitly disable the iPad that you do not wish to send or receive text messaging from the list of devices.


You may also wish to disable Messages in iCloud is for the iPad that you wish to exclude - but enable for devices that you do wish to share text messaging on both your iPhone and iPad:

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > Messages - set to ON or OFF as required
