I have just had a new battery installed and now can't take my Hotmail account online.
It is linked to the @ sign in the Internet accounts. I have tried all the passwords that it could be and it still won't let me in. the incoming mail server is map-mail.outlook.com
I did receive two emails today but then it blocked me?
I can still receive emails on my phone.
Please help if you can.

If you tried 5 times unsuccessfully, yes you are blocked by Microsoft. So, you should contact Hotmail support or reset your password from their website.

Hi thank you, I didn't realise it would block me. The problem is the password and the Mac not being able to verify it..
I'm also having problems receiving mail on a gmail account too.. :-(
