My MacBook Air 11 inch (2015) crash often despite installing the latest OS Monterey. This has been going on since the last update to Catalina. Have followed some of the advises given through internet. Used Cleanmymac to clean of any virus. Laptop is installed with minimal application. The laptop seem to crash when it is kept idle, more often. grateful for any suggestions.

You didn't provide the crash log, though try to check your MacBook Air with Apple Diagnostics if kernel crash is caused by hardware related issue.

If it doesn't help, I mean if it doesn't report any error, you'd better make Genius Bar reservation if your local retail AppleStore is open or find opened local Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Air.

Thank you Kaz-K for the suggestion and advise. I ran the Apple diagnostics. However No error or issue is reported. Tried chatting with Apple support yesterday. Ask to do reboot in safe mode etc which I did, but no issues were reported. I am enclosing another crash report here for today morning.

It seems to me, kernel panic is caused by SSD or SSD controller related trouble. Try to check with Apple Diagnostics if it reports storage device related error(VDH002, VDH004).
