My computer does not charge. The light on the charger is off
I find it concerning that your charger was unable to deliver a charge. ⚡️
My advice:
Visit an Apple retail store for a certified genius to check your charger because a replacement should be a consideration (take advantage of your warranty)! 😉
Try checking if another port will charge. ⚡️

Troubleshooting Mac Power:
A. Black Mac Screen:
Go Here: If your Mac doesn't Turn On or Start Up - Apple Support
Using External Devices: Try Resetting the SMC and NVRAM, but this time, using an external keyboard. Connect an external monitor and see if you get an output.

If it is currently charging from a charger, then use a new charger:

I disconnected the charger from the wall and reconnected it and it worked!!! Live and learn and when in doubt take it out!!!
