Won’t start up

My MacBook Air won’t start up past the apple logo and progress bar. I’ve done first aid in dusk utility, gets even less distance along progress bar now.

Try starting in Safe Mode Shift immediately at a restart and hold until the Apple Logo is presented. It will do a Repair Disk, clear cache files. and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The loading will be slow - normal.

If it will boot all the way to log in - stay in this mode for 5 - 7 minutes and then restart in normal fashion.
