Spotlight Indexing Problem Cant Be Temporarily Solved

Spotlight searches on my mac (Monterey 12.0.1) does not bring many files I am looking for. Even the ones I use everyday. Community forum recommends:

"Drag the disk or folder that you want to index again to the list of locations that Spotlight is prevented from searching. Or click the add button (+) and select the disk or folder to add.

From the same list of locations, select the disk or folder that you just added. Then click the remove button (–) to remove it from the list."

This helps at first but in a short while same problem occurs. I have to do this everyday.

Does anybody have a temporary solution to spotlight indexing problem?

Thank you!
