I bought an iPad with 512 g so I would have space to store files. I do not want to upgrade my iCloud storage. How do I set up to store my files on my iPad. Thanks Ron

Do not sync them to iCloud anylonger.

Settings>[your name]>iCloud... disable the options that occupy more space (generally iCloud Photos, Notes, Mail, etc.).
