MacBook Pro Touch Bar not working after updating to Monterey

Hi.

I have a MacBook Pro Touch Bar late 2017 model.

I have opened it like 5 months back and use it normally.

I hade Big Sur updated on in.

then Monterey tried to install over the night when it was released.

the next morning when I switch it on I got a message like this

i have been calling Apple support several times as I was explained by a Apple tech guy that the logic board needs to replaced.

I was shocked to hear this.

when we phoned Apple support I was told by the adviser not to scrap my laptop but sell it in parts!!!!

i can see that the problem is with the Touch Bar.

please can someone help me on what to do.

because Apple support will do nothing?

thank you in advance.

It is always recommend to stay current with the macOS updates.... verify your Big Sur is up to date:

Big Sur, Version: 11.6.2, Size: 12433351292K, Build: 20G314

Then try your Monterey upgrade.
