purple dots on screen only when screen is darker

why is there purple dots on my screen when it has a dark background? i haven’t dropped it or put mass amounts of pressure on the screen

It could still have failed ,

First try a Forced restart

If no better

You should arrange a repair

Anything other than Screen or Battery may be a replacement phone and the price is in the article.
