I have a playlist of around 190 Christmas songs in my Music Library. When I Shuffle this playlist, I always get the SAME 20 songs from the playlist. The order among these 20 varies, but it's always the same 20. The remaining 170 songs never appear. I checked some of my other playlists, and didn't run into this problem.

Make sure the songs are checked. If you don't see the checkboxes, enable Preferences > General, "show -- songs list checkboxes" and then look at the list in Songs view to make sure the boxes are all checked.

Glad it is solved! People usually put that setting so they don't have to hear Christmas songs in July, and then come December it creates a problem. :-) Merry Christmas.
