Cost of Apple Apps

i have just seen a huge withdrawal on my bank statement from Apple Store (presumably from an App purchase)! Shock horror!

I am very happy to pay $ for Apps which I know cost a lot to design etc but the billing /costs of these Apps is not open & transparent enough! It used to be.

How do I know which App has cost me well over $100 so I can delete it, please?

Where can I find a statement of my App costs shich are being deducted from my cheque account which are beginning to cost more than my groceries bill!! ?

I believe this practice of “making it difficult to find the price” is very misleading & needs to stop.

Apple this is not ethical if it’s deliberate!

So can someone help me please.

I want to de-clutter my IPhone to start the new year🙏🌈🎶🦋💥

iPhone 8, iOS 15

This is primarily a user-to-user support forum; other Apple users like you. We don't have access to information about charges to your account. See each of the steps in the following instructions. They include information on contacting Apple Support if the other steps don't help: If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement - Apple Support

To cancel a recurring charge, see: How to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support

To request a refund, see: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support

Looking to Use it Anew?

If you want to use it like a new device, then you need to install it anew. To do that, perform as instructed here: What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

IMPORTANT:

Back Up your iPhone First: Make a backup of your device using iCloud or your computer. That way you can have something to restore you iPhone from, should anything go wrong with the new installation.

Ask Apple.

For Financial Assistance, Contact Apple Store Support:

You need to contact Apple Support Directly. This is a User-to-User forum. We are all volunteers. So, as you may suspect, no one here has access to that information — and that is a good thing, BTW. That’s why for Financial Assistance, you need to contact Apple Support. They’ll see what’s going on and will run you through the fix.

Apple Contact Info:

Why the Wait:

Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
