? for password in Apple TV not available or ID input

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, you are having issues entering in a question mark for your password on the Apple TV. We'll do our best to assist with this.

Do you happen to have access to an iPhone or iPad? If so, try adding that as a remote and then using the keyboard on that device to sign in using your password: Use the iOS or iPadOS keyboard to enter text on Apple TV

Also, if you have a Bluetooth keyboard, you could add that and test it out: Use Bluetooth accessories with your Apple TV

The password entry will show selectors for upper case (ABC), lower case (abc), and additional symbols (#+−). The latter has the question mark character.
