Delete app completely

You can fully remove most apps (with the exception of some Apple apps which cannot be removed) from your device. But even a deleted app will show in your purchase history and there is no way to defeat that.

To remove an app from your device, place your finger on the app and push on it a bit until you see a dialog box appear. Tap Remove App, the confirm.

From the very simple directions I provided I have no clue how you could possibly infer a deleted app is doing anything? An App which is removed from your device is doing nothing. No background activities. NOTHING. It is still part of your purchase history however, and can be redownloaded in the future.
