System Data ballooning in size

Hi,

I'm a bit concerned with my Macbook's storage. I've been trying to clear space and noticed that "System Data" is taking up almost half of the available storage of my Macbook.

I can't find a way to clear System Data, so I'm wondering what my options may be to be able to clear the space. The only thing I may think would be attributing to this would be Homebrew, but I don't even have that many apps installed on the Macbook anyway.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Other: Contains files that don’t fall into the categories listed here. This category primarily includes files and data used by the system, such as log files, caches, VM files, and other runtime system resources. Also included are temporary files, fonts, app support files, and plug-ins. You can't manage the contents of this category.
