Controller connects but doesn’t work

Ps4 connects but its not working properly only ps button works an the share. Nothing else works tried everything un pair paired reset restart iphone everything anything im missing?? Please help!

First, have you checked to see if there is a firmware update for the controller?


Does this happen with every game? It sounds like you have covered most of the steps in the resource linked to your post: Pair a PlayStation controller to your Apple device, but is your controller supported?


"See which wireless controllers are supported

"PlayStation DualShock 4 Wireless Controller

PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller"



Should you continue to have trouble, or you've already attempted these steps, reach out to Apple for additional assistance: Get Support

I fixed it last night i couldn’t leave it alone because it was working the first 3 days on cod mobile.. so what i did was i unpaired it (forgot device) on phone deleted the game an the re-downloaded the game an reseted the controller (button on back) then paired it an boom it worked again. So now it works an its a done deal.
