What do I do to download my 2013 Mac Book Pro to a new 24" iMac??

This is very very easy. If the new Mac has not been started yet then connect the old Macs Time Machine Time Machine backup using a USB cable to the new Mac. Turn on the new Mac and it will launch Setup Assistant . SA will get to a point where asks if want to migrate from another Mac. Select yes and follow the prompts!!


if you have already started up the new Mac connect the Time Machine drive as described above and launch Migration Assistant (Applications-Utilities-Migration Assistant) and follow the prompts. Super easy , fast and dead reliable.
