I forgot my iPad password, I follow the instruction to put my device in recovery mode. Didn't work

I apologise if I have misread your post but do you mean iPad Passcode and if so the following link may help.

If the recovery mode steps did not resolve your iPad issue can you detail further what shows on your screen e.g. iPad is Disabled, Activation Lock and we can provide further support.


Having said that you may find it better to contact Apple Support.
