Apple Watch FB Messenger Notifications Haptic Feedback

My goal is to have standard "haptic" notification whenever somebody writes me message on FB Messenger, ideally without the actual sound (which is annoying). The problem is that the Apple Watch notification setting seems to be connected to iPhone Messenger Sound setting which turned off (I don't want to hear any sound every time I get new message). This way unfortunately Apple Watch seems to be "muted" as well, that means not even haptic feedback (just banner).


From what I understand I have two options:- Leave the iPhone Messenger Sound setting on and have it ringing whenever someone writes me message (= this way Apple Watch notifies me as well)

OR

- Set the iPhone Messenger Sound setting off and get no notification anywhere (just banner)


Is there some way to have it just in "vibration/haptic" mode (without any sound) on both OR have it muted on iPhone and unmuted on Watch please?

If you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 15.2. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to first back up, then Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
