Lost pass code

I bought my grandson a refurbished iPad for Christmas he only set up pass code and never went any further and now he has forgotten passcode

If the iPad has iOS 15.2 installed, see: How to reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when you forgot your passcode - Apple Support


If that option is not available, you will need to use a computer. See: If you forgot your iPad passcode - Apple Support
