I inherited my husband's MacBook Air when he died three years ago. I signed him out and logged myself in as the Account user. My apple id is visible on everything. I have updated to OS Monterey. My Pages will not open until I 'upgrade.' I hit the upgrade button and my husbands iCloud account appears. I put my apple id and my password in and it won't accept. A message comes up and says Sign in to the i/tunes store. I am signed it to the iTunes store.

Is there anything I can do to removed the connection to my husband's old iCloud account?

Thank you

Delete and redownload Pages and any other applications associated with his Apple ID. On a Mac, this won't erase their data, but it should be backed up anyway.
