When I am forced to redeem a digital copy of a movie that I purchased in a store on iTunes, why can't I have it accessed through my VUDU or Movies Anywhere account? I have linked the accounts and the movies in the latter accounts are accessible to iTunes but not the other way around. Another Apple grab and hold?
Thanks, I hear what you're saying and agree. Even though I have linked these various accounts, Movies Anywhere, VUDU, iTunes, together so that content can be shared across the platforms, it appears that the sharing only happens in one direction. VUDU and Movies Anywhere share quite readily between each other and with iTunes but iTunes doesn't share, it only sucks (content, that is).
I would say it has to do licensing rules. And, they are not your property, you only paid for a license to watch them. If you object to the rules, there are other services, I am sure.
