Safari on MacBook Pro M1 doesn't sync tabs to other iCloud devices

Hello Community,

I have the following problem with two MacBook Pro M1 and M1Pro laptops. Syncing safari tabs to other devices via iCloud (iPhone and iPad) doesn't work.

Has anyone had the same problem on M1? What solution have you found?

MacOS Monterrey 12.1

Safari: Versión 15.2 (17612.3.6.1.6).

Note: On MacBook Pro Intel laptops it works correctly.

Regards,

Rafael Vega.

I was able to find the root cause: The antivirus.

In my case I have Kaspersky antivirus for Mac. This anvirtus is checking HTTPS connections and this is causing Safari tab synchronization not to work properly.

I disabled Kasperky's antivirus and immediately the synchronization worked.

Regards.

I'm sorry that this didn't work. When you go to system preferences, do you you go to Apple ID or to iCloud? In system preferences iCloud ,at the bottom left you can sign in. Also in iCloud on the left is account details. Click on that and then devices. It with show all devices synced with iCloud. Also on the left in iCloud you can click on manage family and add a family member. in iCloud on the right under apple settings ,if you have Safari checked tabs should work. This is assuming your MacBook Pro is setup in iCloud. Let me know if this helped at all.
