Persistent AirPlay Issues
Hello,
I am a number of AirPlay 2 enabled speakers in my house. I frequently have issues with the signal cutting out, and then, when you go to reconnect, you're not able to.
1) All of the devices are confirmed airplay compatible.
2) All of the devices are on the same network.
3) The issues happen for multiple end-user devices – iPhones, Macs, iPads, etc.
4) Also happens on multiple AirPlay2 receivers – Sonos, old school airport express, TVs, etc.
Not sure what to do. I've tried a host of different network configurations – is there a magic wireless trick I'm neglecting to make AirPlay work?
Once the connection fails, it takes 15 or so minutes before the speakers will connect with another device. You can try to reconnect, but nothing happens. Peculiarly, the device to which you were previously connected still shows up in AirPlay devices, even if you turn off WiFi and put on airplane mode.
Quite strange -- please advise.
