iphone 7 unresponsive home button

my iphone 7 has been stuck in a reboot loop for the past few days and when it eventually turns back on my home button is unresponsive, so i cant even turn it off to try to fix my home button as it just goes back into a reboot loop, can anyone help me please, i really need this phone for work?

Press and hold both the side button and the volume down button until you see the Apple logo.
If your phone doesn't turn on, follow these steps to check your hardware and charge your iPhone. You might need to charge for up to an hour.
If your iPhone still doesn't turn on, contact Apple Support. 
