I believe the issue is the with programming of the dictation not my not saying no caps, can you confirm that each time in iMessages you start dictation mid-sentence it capitalizes?

The goal of dictation is to offer a natural speaking experience. Me saying no caps is counterintuitive to that experience. Try this scenario break it up as if you are thinking about what you need.

“If you are at target can you get me A bag of chips and some Coca-Cola?”

You’re telling me I should say

”if you are at target can you get me no caps a bag of chips and some Coca-Cola?”

Hello petr270,

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities.

Let’s see if we can help with dictation on your iPhone.

While there’s not an option to turn off capitalization, you can say “no caps” at the beginning of your new sentence. See the section “Add punctuation or format text” found in Dictate text on iPhone for details.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Cheers!
