HomePod mini set up

Why does the HomePod say that the Wi-Fi connection is invalid when I try and set it up. I am currently at boarding school and so I have to use school WiFi. I have a 5Ghz and a 2.4Ghz. Neither work. Is there something I can do to edit this?

If not when I go home and set the HomePod up there will i need to set it up again at school?

Thanks.
