Apple’ own apps on Apple devices do not support Chromecast, instead those support AirPlay (a somewhat similar but different protocol).
To bring AirPlay support to a TV that isn’t AirPlay-enabled from the factory, you’ll need to connect an external streaming device that supports AirPlay. That can be a current Apple TV box or a current Roku. (Those would also have the Apple TV app of their own, so you wouldn’t need to stream this from an Apple mobile device.)
To watch from the Apple TV app from a connected streaming device, you can choose from Apple TV box, Roku, Fire TV, PlayStation (4, 5), Xbox (One, One S, X, S), ‘Chromecast with Google TV’, or Nvidia Shield TV.
