When I try to update my MacBook I am not able to because it says no updates available for my OS X version

I’m not able to update my browser in either Safari or chrome. I am on a MacBook Air 6,2 OSX

Updates are accessed via System Preferences > Software Update.


You have either a 2013 or an Early 2014 model. The latest MacOS you can run is v11 Big Sur. Here's how to update:
