Removed my old device

I removed my old device before i erased it. Will this be ok?

You first follow the description of the Apple article at the top left of this thread, because now you still have the iPhone with you.

Then you remove the iPhone from your account, see this Apple article: Check your Apple ID device list to see where you're signed in
