Where can I buy a battery for my MacBook Pro 13-inch, Mid 2010. Apple Store in-person technical service person said they cannot get the part (battery) for my laptop and they will not be able to change it for me.

Call OWC directly, please. I am not familiar with specifications and I do not want to guide you incorrectly. The price seems correct from when I replaced the one in my 2011 years ago, though. Please recycle properly though either Apple or the kiosk Best Buy sets up, as the old batteries still have nasty chemicals in them.
Yes, that is the battery for the 13" model from 2009 to 2012. It is mentioned near the top of the product page.
OWC (macsales.com). They sell batteries and have videos how to install batteries.
