Unknown callers going straight to voicemail

iPhone 11 version 15.2.1

DND is OFF, Silence Unknown Callers is OFF, no headphones are connected, the volume is all the way up and I can hear it ring for any of my contacts. Did a test call from a number that is not blocked. I have done several hard resets. There is no reason these calls should be going to voicemail automatically. Why is the phone not ringing for any number not in my contacts?

My issue has been resolved. I have an ATT app that was suppressing my calls. Check any apps that can possibly control spam/robo calls.

If you have Silence Unknown Callers enabled then this is normal.

To turn on Silence Unknown Callers, go to Settings > Phone, then scroll down, tap Silence Unknown Callers, and turn on the feature. Calls from unknown numbers are silenced and sent to your voicemail, and appear in your recent calls list.07-May-2021
