I have a new Mac Keyboard with the TouchID. Unofrtunately when I ordered it I didn't know that would not work on Intel Machines. No biggie. But...I typically set the "Modifier Keys" in the keyboard settings so that the CAPS LOCK key is set to "None' no action. But....it doesn't turn it off? It still locks. Any ideas?

I'm sure it's supposed to be a feature: People use all kinds of keyboards, some for different languages, some designed for Windows and other platforms, or for different purposes like programming vs other stuff. Being able to customize these settings for each keyboard can be valuable.

I feel that when I've chosen CAPS LOCK does 'No Action' in system preferences it should do EXACTLY 'No Action' on all keyboards attached to the mac that system preferences manages, but instead it does that for each keyboard...
You actually need to turn caps lock off on all keyboards connected to your computer...

There of course could be those who want each keyboard set up differently.
Return it and buy the correct keyboard for your machine.
Caps Lock won't switch to No action
