Space bar on MacBook Pro Not working

Try to check your MacBook Pro keyboard with Apple Diagnostics if it reports keyboard related error(NDK001, NDK003, NDK004).

Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support

If it doesn't help or error is reported, you'd better make Genius Bar reservation if your local retail AppleStore is open or find opened local Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Pro there.
