update to 15.3 disabled all touch screen interaction

After the 15.3 update ran last night I can no longer use the touch screen on my 3 month old 13Pro which means no sign in, or answering calls. Only the physical buttons respond so I tried a restart (many times) and no luck. Anyway to recover from this no to helpful update?

It sounds like you're having trouble with your touch screen and we can help.


Check out these steps If the screen isn't working on your iPhone or iPad:


"If your screen is too sensitive or responds intermittently to touch

  1. Restart your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Make sure that your screen is clean and free of any debris or water.
  3. Disconnect any Lightning or USB-C accessories. If your screen works after removing an accessory, try using a different outlet, cable, or charger.
  4. Remove any cases or screen protectors.

If part of your screen doesn't respond, responds intermittently, or responds even when it's not touched, contact Apple Support for your iPhone or iPad."
