In macOS 12.2.1: How can I Quit out of Screen Mirroring

I am using macOS 12.2.1 on a MacBook Pro, 16" 2019.

I was watching it on my TV at home last night, but now I can't get screen mirroring (which I guess is the replacement to AirPlay??) to quit.

Also is there a white paper out there that talks about all of the Screen Mirroring settings? Things like Display Preferences, Resolution, Color Profile, Refresh Rate, Add Display, etc.
