Macbook air (mid2013) shuts down in 10 or 15 minutes when on battery power even though fully charged but works fine when plug in to the wall. What are the possible issues?

You can check battery condition in two ways. One is by holding down the option key and clicking on the battery icon top right. the other ways is Apple top left. About this Mac- System report -Power. Check cycle count and Charge remaining.Determine battery cycle count for Mac notebooks - Apple Support. Get help with your Mac notebook battery - Apple Support
