apple photos not syncing to Apple TV and iCloud Photos.

Help Please.

I have an album with about 200 images that I want to use as the screensaver on my Apple TVs. The corresponding folder on the Apple TVs only shows 56 images.

In looking at the web-hosted iCloud Photos, it too only shows 56 photos. The overall Library count matches on my Mac and iCloud. But the album refuses to sync to the Apple TV or iCloud Photos.

The sync is breaking down somewhere. I've looked at every help page that I can find on Apple Support. I have everything set correctly. I have plenty of available storage available.

Any suggestions on a fix?

Hi Tony -- Thanks for responding.

I think I've got it fixed. Your suggestions helped me to get to the answer. At the bottom of All Photos, it says "Updated Just Now".

The smart album with the condition “photo - is unable to upload to iCloud” -- "No Items"

As a result of your questions, I also added the entire set of photos that refused to be uploaded to My iCloud and Apple TV to Favorites. To my surprise - they "imported". Head scratcher - they are in an Album, but not in the Library (?)

But they are now on iCloud and Apple TV. I also created a new album with the same images. That album is also on iCloud and Apple TV.
