ipad 8 model a2270 makes buzzing noise that you can only hear when ear is close to it
i have an ipad 8 model a2270, it makes a buzzing noise whenever its turned on, and i want to know if this is normal, or if its happened to anyone else

Do you have a cover on it? Take the cover off to see if that makes a difference.
Lay it in a hard, perfectly flat surface, in a perfectly quiet environment. Is it still making the noise? There are no moving parts on an iPad (the cooling is passive). Be absolutely sure the noise is coming from the iPad.
Is this happening when the iPad is under extreme use (lots of activity that would put heaviest use on the SOC).
If you have AppleCare+ I'd open a case with Apple Support. If you don't have AppeCare+ or warranty,, you can take it on to an Apple Store to have it examined by a repair specialist.
