iPhone not Screen Recording

I noticed this a couple of days ago. I have screen recording in my control centre. I am currently running on the 15.1 software version. Whenever I press the button to screen record, it does the ‘3,2,1’ countdown, but then doesn’t go red. When I press it again, to turn it off, it returns to the default state. When I go to photos, I don’t see any screen recording, not do I get a notification. I recently clears most of my photos and videos, as I had around 62GB out of 64GB, and couldn’t record photos or videos. Now I currently have 38GB of 64GB. I would like to know how to make Screen Recording work again.
